Same... All my benchies are prety much identical to where they were at previously. Perhaps an install on my big rig (which I have not done yet) will show greater detail in the change (more score = more numbers to change).

But I did not expect performance increases... Just better stability.

Although my Vista has been pretty stable it had a bug when the wireless would try connect after sleeping/hibernating. It appears that has changed...which is good.

No change is a good thing. A lot of times (XP SP2) they add extra overhead in service packs. Most of the things that tweak performance/compatibility are released between service packs (at least in Vista's case.)

Wow, somehow I just noticed that they released service pack 2. I'm installing it right now.
    We can do better.

Ugh, my install is stuck at 3 of 3, and keeps rebooting. I gotta find my install disk and repair or some crap. Thanks Vista.

I think that happened to me at some point recently Civil, I downloaded a crap ton of updates and it kept going through the cycle like that so I somehow made it stop and then I only had like half the updates and had to re-download the rest. Sucks.

Yeah, did a Google search, and most people say you just need to boot from the install disk, and go back to a restore point, so I will try that later or tomorrow.

And wouldn't you know the DOS or whatever it loads in when it asks if you want to boot from CD/DVD does not recognize a USB keyboard, so lucky me. Hopefully I have an old POS KB around somewhere.

    Re: Vista SP2

Yup, my USB KB is recognized in BIOS... otherwise I'd have a pretty hard time USING BIOS.
