Put in a new GPU and problem solved. If you have any spare vid cards/ and buddys with one I would test this theory, but I'd be willing to bet a new card and you'll be fine.
Are you referring to the pixels?

I have noticed that while playing lately, I would see a few random pixels here and there not related to my monitor since they only show up when gaming...

Anyways, I'm gonna go ahead and get myself a 260 to start with and I'll see what happens from there.
Yes. But it got so bad that when I would turn on my computer, all it would show from startup was pixelated multi-colored squares all over the monitor.

Checked cord, Checked monitor then finally checked card and that was it.
That is the GPU overheating. My wife has a shuttle that doesnt really allow enough breathing room for the card in there, and that happens about once a month after the fan accumulates some dust. Quick shot from an air can and the problem goes away. I know you said you have numerous fans, but are they set up properly as far as intake and exhaust?
I don't know about the problem he used to have but with mine, the thermostat isn't showing significanly high temperatures. It acts as a heating issue but may be less physical and more defect related.(not sure if I know what I'm talking about) but I've played with the cover off after a good cleaning. It didn't matter which scenario I set up in relation to fan position or fan speed, the issue is always the same but when I look at the temp, it's not that high.

Haha SJA, I had a Shuttle once... stupidest purchase I ever made. After frying two video cards I ended up leaving the cover off and having some spare 120mm fans just propped up next to the video card on the side of the desk. Redneck engineering.

I don't know what the "proper" way to set them up would be. My Antec Case has 4 or 5 fans on it. I bought an additional fan that sucks in air and blows it at the inlet of the fan on the actual video card (if I remember correctly). Should the intake and exhaust be in particular locations?

What does that have to do with anything he was talking about?

Sort of a cool setup, I like the 3x WS (I have 2x) but his cable management sucks... and the PS3 display is way to high, I'd hurt my neck looking at that.

    Re: My computer

Well my GTX 260 from newegg just came in a little while ago, though I'm a little worried as the packaging is all beat to hell. Not just the shipping box but the GPU box is somewhat crushed on one side of it.

I took a bunch of photos of it with my phone.....

Newegg will probably replace it, but it's up to you if you want to spend that time waiting. Chances are the card would work, but I also wouldn't blame you for wanting an undamaged package.

    Re: My computer

I'd call can get it replaced myself. Never know what problems you might have with it, even if it is not immediately obvious.

If any of the circuits on the board were damaged but not broken completely, it could work for a while then die on you in a month or so after the current wears away what remains.

I think yall are both right. While I believe that more than likely the card will work. I'm worried that something within the card that is fragile enough to the point it may have received damage that would not be immediately obvious, or possibly just worn down a little bit to the point the card won't work properly in the future.

I blame UPS and newegg because the video card box wasn't packaged right in the first place. When packing items into a box, you are to expect that the box will get thrown arround and maybe crushed somewhat. In my cardboard box, the video card box was laying on the bottom with the packing material on top of it. Nothin was protecting it between the video card box and the cardboard box.

I'm going to go ahead and try to get a replacement....

    Re: My computer

Besides, I like to keep the video card boxes and this one won't straighten out it's so crushed on that one end. Even the protective hard plastic material surrounding the card is crushed to the point that the card was pretty much unprotected underneath that area.
