Re: Microsoft Technet Plus Consumer Services
It's starting to look like this was a major FUBAR by Microsoft and they're canceling all the (illegitimate) free Technet subscriptions that were given out yesterday. When I access the site now, it's as if I never registered. No keys, no download options.
Looks like we were fucked by MS again.Hopefully they won't revoke all the keys that were downloaded.

I still think Microsoft screwed up somehow. The 1900 expiration date being the biggest key for me. Some of the wording was off syntactically as well. One or 2 of the icons on the pages just looked questionable as well.
However, I did grab stuff I could use this semester in school.
What was notably absent, considering everything that was made available..... the full version of Visual Studio. If you're posting every server, OS and many other applications, why wouldn't Visual Studio be there??

bullet points going off of memory since I was driving at the time
- was an invite only email
- if you signed up, subscription will remain
- this program expires September 30th
- they are testing a new program, surveys would be helpful
- can't contine (paid) current subscription
- download/key problem supposedly resolved yesterday
- if still having probs, it is an issue with the way you log in (their words not mine)
fwiw, mine is still broken on the PC I was downloading from, will call back soon
