    Case Questions.....

    Hola,

I'm trying to find a case that looks sick, is made mostly of alluminum, comes with wheels/castors and is easy to use....

How does one use a case you ask?
Cases without doors make DVD roms easy to use. Cases with doors add that extra and fucking annoying step.

I use my DVD roms as my video player and run my games / movies to my projector so my DVD trays get a lot of useage. My new build will have a blueray DVD RW and I will need something - easy to use!

I've always been a huge fan of Lian Li cases and the one I was gonna get: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811112141 --- doesn't look as sick as the Lian Li cases with doors.

This Zalman with a double chin looks very cool - front end is meh - but the rest is cool: http://zalman.com/ENG/product/Product_Read.asp?idx=336

The HAF looks sick - but maybe a bit overkill besides the red LED I can do without: http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/prod...roduct_id=2810

Edit: This thing is like a Ferrari! http://blacklabel.coolermaster.com/

Arrgh so many choices!!!! Anyone got any reviews on either of the above or can suggest others I may consider?

    Thanks in advance.

Number three as well, although the zalman case I would say is close second. Number four looks nice but I dont even want to know the price.

I use the HAF....The red led in the front is pretty low-key. There are two layers of grating in front of it,so if you are not looking streight at it,it really isn't all that bright. Otherwise...lots of room, great airflow, well made, and easy to work with. Couple pics..

    +1 for the HAF.

CoolerMaster makes nice cases. I'm using the Ammo533. When I build a new rig I'm going with the HAF. Now I just got to win the lottery.

I think you will be good with which ever of those cases you posted.
Can't wait to see the finished product!

I don't know about "wheels/casters" but the Antec 1200 is badass and I'm happy with mine.

So now, I'm looking at 2 fans:
    The V8 CM: http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/product ... ct_id=2869
    &
    The Noctua core i7 Fan: http://www.noctua.at/main.php?show=prod ... =24&lng=en

And have narrowed the Cases down to the Lian Li PA70B and the HAF

I appreciate the input, however I don't like that case. It's too small for me and has way too much plastic for my tastes.
