Is your monitor maybe saying "No signal" or something a long those lines. It's built into the monitor when nothing is to be displayed.

Re: Fresh Build No Boot HELP!
If your monitor isn't getting a video signal, I'd imagine it's an issue with the video card(s) or maybe the cables. If one of your existing 4850's from the old system works and you get a signal, it's obviously a video problem. It's possible you just got a couple of lemons... happens to me more often than I'd like (hence why I'm still gaming on my old box while I wait on the RMA from newegg to arrive.)

Re: Fresh Build No Boot HELP!
does the system have onboard video? if so use it and remove the cards to get your system up and running, then upgrade your bios and then try crossfire. A LOT of MBs out there say they support crossfire but what I have found is that they do but not with the bios that ships with the board. If you don't have onboard video then just install 1 video card until you get the bios updated.

Re: Fresh Build No Boot HELP!
The OP isn't even responsive, but I will add one more suggestion. I just finished reading a long thread on EVGA forums where a guy kept claiming his mobo and video card wouldn't work together, when I know they do because I have the same ones. Eventually he realized his monitor was not Vista compatible (something I didn't even consider as a possibility, obviously neither did he). Worth thinking about?

Re: Fresh Build No Boot HELP!
[analogy]
Heres an analogy for ya... Describe this to us like your describing something you really like(movie, girl, girl IN the movie), Spare us no details, because we may like this girl as well. What color is her hair? what kind of clothes does she wear?
[/analogy]
anyways... Describe EVERY detail of what is happening. We need to no EXACTLY what is happening in order for us to help you. any sounds from mobo? any flashes, beeps, etc. spare no details.
