Which LED fan looks better? (Wallpaper size image included!)
Since bigdog said he thought the image of my Megahalems and LED fan looked nice enough to be a wallpaper, I went ahead and found the original full-res image to upload it as such. However, first I will ask, which of these two looks better? Originally I had #1 which is an Antec Tri-Cool, but it was so bright I thought it was obnoxious, plus it was pretty loud. The new Coolermaster R4 fan is much much quieter, but is almost too dim now and I sort of am wanting the old one again even though I thought it was too bright at the time. #2 is taken from a slightly different angle to get a better view of the light pattern emitted by the fan.

#2:
#1 hi-res download (1920x1200)
#2 hi-res download (1920x1200)
If you need a different resolution you should be able to re-size from 1920x1200, I'm not going to upload every possible variation or size and aspect ratio. :P

I prefer the second one.....
I Like that the R4 extenuates the case fans. Also prefer the RAM in #2, just looks nicer.
#1 has way too much noise....
When I photograph my fans, they're gonna be uuuuugly!! lol
I love the reviews people give on noctuas: amazing fan; fucking ugly!!!
But again the whole no window thing....function vs fashion

There is actually a very small amount of "function" to an LED fan... it is very obvious to see if it's not moving! And the case window allows me to glance inside and make sure all my fans (vid card included) are working, if I ever doubt it.
