X-Fi Titanium and Vista 64bit
No matter what I try my Mic will not work. I have latest drivers, Mics in the right jack, set to default,Mic is proved good on another comp. My OS is vista Ult 64. I read an old post on this but it didn't help. Any new developments or suggestions. I'm ready to smash this card... Tks Robert

I had problems along the same lines with an audigy 2 platinum... Creative has fallen short in the driver department for years now. I got rid of the card and started using onboard sound, and got a nice USB mic/headset. Haven't had a problem since.

I am guessing you went to the website and got the latest drivers and control panel for it......... Make sure you turn your on-board sound off in BIOS as well.
Then, find this in your start menu..... "Creative Console Launcher"
This menu should pop up.......
When it does, select "Settings" at the bottom..... should bring this up and you want to select "Microphone"....
Once that is done then you may start hearing something then...... if not you will have to go back to this menu and un-mute the microphone.....
That should get you going.... let me know.

Yes I'm hearing myself breath now. Tks Investigator... Tried it in game and it also works. You saved me money Bro...Just a couple more questions I don't know if you play BF2 to answer... In Game under audio settings the Mic boost game tap doesn't work or for that matter the Mic test doesn't work. However squad does here me. Now that Mic is working would a reinstall make said features work. Its easier to ask than do a reinstall for nothing.
