    Itunes music not transferring to Zune

    So I just got a Zune (black 80GB) and its pretty sexy :9 8).

    My problem is I got some stuff through itunes and it doesn't want to go into the Zune software or into the Zune itself. When I check the status of it, it says its in MPEG-4 audio format with a little locked symbol in the upper left corner. My question is how can I unlock it so I can get it into the Zune?

    Also, is there a program that can convert audio and movie files from one type to another? I have some movies in .avi and .mkv and I want to get them onto the Zune, but the Zune doesn't support it. So my question is, how can I convert it in such a way that it can play? It can play .wmv and MPEG-4 movie format.

    I am at camp for the week so just leave replies so I can check it on next Saturday. Thanks a bunch guys. I know I can count on you. :9

    .mp4 with a lock = iTunes proprietary DRM track. The only way you can get those to go to your Zune would be to burn them to a CD and then re-rip them as a .mp3. As for the videos, you'll need to look around for a transcoder. There are tons of them out there.

    blast. So time consuming but whatever. The coder seems good but come on $59 bucks for the unlimited? Damn. Anything free?
