    Wow, I remember when having a 2 gig instead of 1 gig hd was totally kick ass. I remember real floppy disks and green screen monitors.

    Goodness -- brings back old memories of 14.4K modems, Hyper-terminal, Adhoc'ing, and of course the old WAD file. Never got into the mechs much, I was kinda obsessed with Doom back than.

    they days when everyone who owned a computer, knew how to fix it, trouble shoot it and build them. good'ole miltary grade AT cases you could drop from you roof and dent the concrete. floppy disks you could throw like ninja starts and draw blood with a flick of the wrist.
