And the Anti-Virus Product of the Year is......
SYMANTEC?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
True, according to AV-Comparatives (Summary Report 2009): http://www.av-comparatives.org/compa...ummary-reports"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed."

if you go through past all the results it also gives a summary of each one they tested overall. be useful if you are looking for a program.
I'm biased, but Avira probably would of won it again IMO if it wasn't for the FPs (which i'd rather have more FPs in turn for better protection then less and getting more viruses)

Symantec is the big daddy of norton. Basically, everyday home users get norton and businesses use symantec. I am currently running symantec's most recent version on several of my computers and I must sat I have been impressed. NOTHING AT ALL LIKE NORTON! It totally runs in the background and I have NEVER noticed it hogging resources. On top of that it has been good at catching possible problems and I would have to suprisingly recommend using it. Norton on the other hand.....stay 100000000000000000000000000000 feet away from. Unless they have made some changes, I have only had problems with norton.

Well, although surprising, I must say my recent experience with the business version would confirm that. I think they should change the name though, norton just has a bad connotation to it. When someone says norton people with any experience wit it tend to cringe.
