    Basic Questions

    1. Will it all fit in? Will the board fit in the box?

    2. Is there such a thing as PCI-E 2.1 and if there is ( ) will it fit in the available slots my mobo has like in it's picture

No. It won't work. Intel uses a different socket than AMD. You will need to buy an Intel processor, or an AMD board.

    Re: Will it work?

    1. It will all fit.

    2. CPUs are based on pin count 'sockets' - for example the 965 uses the AMD AM3 socket, where as your motherboard is an Intel LGA 1156 socket.
    Not compatible.
You need an AM3 based motherboard like this one:

    Or an intel CPU

And PCI 2.1 is just a slightly newer PCI - they are compatible so dont worry about that.

    Re: Will it work?

Since the board he's referencing, is the one he won on TTP's contest, I'd wager he needs an Intel CPU. :9

    Re: Will it work?

The motherboard is staying as is it's already here.

    Updated the Processor.

    So a PCI-E 2.1 Card will run in a PCI-E 2.0 slot?

    Re: Will it work?

Still a problem, your still off sockets. You need one of these with an LGA 1156 socket type:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...ame=LGA%201156

Remember, CPU SOCKET - they need to match between motherboard and CPU.

And yes, PCI 2.0 and PCI 2.1 should be entirely interchangeable.
