Will it work?
Mk so it's my first time building my own rig. So I've scoped out what I would to throw in it the only problem is...will it work?

Basic Questions
1. Will it all fit in? Will the board fit in the box?
2. Is there such a thing as PCI-E 2.1 and if there is ( ) will it fit in the available slots my mobo has like in it's picture

1. It will all fit.
2. CPUs are based on pin count 'sockets' - for example the 965 uses the AMD AM3 socket, where as your motherboard is an Intel LGA 1156 socket.
Not compatible.
You need an AM3 based motherboard like this one:

Or an intel CPU
And PCI 2.1 is just a slightly newer PCI - they are compatible so dont worry about that.

Still a problem, your still off sockets. You need one of these with an LGA 1156 socket type:

Remember, CPU SOCKET - they need to match between motherboard and CPU.
And yes, PCI 2.0 and PCI 2.1 should be entirely interchangeable.
