    dual display help needed

    OK, so I currently have a 8800GTS 512 video card hooked up to a 22" LCD monitor at 1680 X 1050 via a DVI cable and I also have a 22" LCD HDTV at the same resolution via VGA with a DVI to VGA converter. I am currently using windows 7 home premium 64 bit. I have some large pictures that I would like to have stretched from one display to another, yet, for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to do that. All that happens is that image repeats itself on the second display.

    This will be temporary for now as I will be setting up a new build, however, it might still prove useful for that.

    What exactly are you trying to do? Are you referring to the Desktop background?

    The picture in the article is exactly what I want, but I have already had extend selected, yet its repeating the image

    and I am using a desktop instead of a laptop.

    It's beyond my expertise, but it has to do with that DVI->VGA conversion I'll bet.

    I used Ultramon religiously until Win7 came out, I can finally do everything I need now without Ultramon. Granted, it does still have some extra feature that Win7 doesn't, but I don't need those.
