    I think I've decided to just use two of the 280s, which should still power through games. That means I don't have to spend so much on a PSU.

    I think that is a reasonable choice. Two graphics cards should be more than enough. Go spend that extra PSU money on something else. Maybe an SSD boot hard drive?

    Sounds good. Make sure to research your choice. Solid state drives can be very iffy these days.

    Check out Anandtech's guide to SSDs. They've benchmarked a TON of SSDs and have comparison charts (ala Tom's for CPU/GPU).

    From what I've seen, if you want i7 liquid cooling won't work as all of the liquid cooling systems aren't compatible.

    They should work fine. There are i7 blocks, which is all you need...
