ATI Catalyst™ 10.4 Preview Much faster load times for BCBC2

This is for the 5800 series only. the 4000 series update will be avail next week sometime.

It works great. No more being the last one in the game.

Good God, I can't wait for the 4000 series! The 10.3, 10.3a and 10.3b have all been garbage with awful Crossfire issues with my cards. I hope this fixes everything.

It's amazing to me that a driver can trump processor speed, HDD load time, RAM speed, and web speed...that's incredible.

Major improvements in load times for me.

HeavyG: Get the updated Application Profiles dated April 7.

    http://www.rage3d.com/xmp/profiles/1...ppProfiles.exe

Below is a list of what will improve when a user installs the April 7 profile:
    * Battlefield Bad Company 2 Fix - horizontal lines are no longer observed when running an ATI CrossFireX configuration
    * Battlefield Bad Company 2 Fix - flickering and black square corruption is no longer observed when running on single card ATI Radeon products
    * Forcing on Anti-Aliasing through ATI Catalyst Control Center is now supported in the following titles: Supreme Commander 2, Dirt2, Avatar and Battlefield Bad Company2 (single GPU configurations)
    * StarCraft(r) II: Wings of Liberty beta on ATI Radeon™ 5800 products running in an ATI CrossFireX configurations : moving units near the edge of a cliff no longer causes them to fall because the height field is corrupted

I will be downloading these. I thought I had the latest profiles, but after checking, mine were from late march. Thanks, I will by trying these out soon!

I didn't realize how slow my load times were until I was playing rush and one of the com stations was already destroyed when I spawned in... I hope they have 4xxx ready soon

Yep... it was worse for the 5xxx series. Now, levels load in a blink. It's great.
