    thats alot of money. I dunno if you trying to save money? I have a gtx260 with a mild overclock and run two monitors 1900x1080 27'' and 1680x1050 22'' with two EVE clients running highest settings at 90fps.

    its runs bc2 maxsettings at 60 fps on the 1900x1080

    most of the time i upgrad my vid card every 16 months i wanna get something that will hold me over untill the new stuff gets cheap enough and upgrade. lets me stay in the sweet spot for drivers and price.

    How OC'd is your 260GTX?
    the OC is done with Riva tuner, its just moving sliders its not hard. move it up a tad burn in for a few days, repeat.

    right now its:
    CORE: 756 Vs 626 stock
    GPU mem clock: 1152 vS ??( i forget but you cant move this much.)
    shader clock: 1630 Vs 1560
    stock fan is on at 100% temps are idle 45c game is 51-56 ( yes the fan is loud but i dont hear it headphones)

    running a dual core e8400@3.5 and 1000 mem at 4-4-4-12

    buying cheaper/older card means mature drivers. for 200 bucks right now you can get a nice ATI card that will rock yoru socks for a year. just run that card in to the ground with OC and fan speeds then get rid of it.

    that 419 dollar card wtill be much cheaper in a few months and even cheaper by the time you need to upgrade.

    And purchased via the TTP newegg affiliate add, minus the monitor because its out of stock. BUT I already have a monitor to make due until its ready, or I find a better one. :P

    But yeah $1800+ purchase through newegg and TTP should be getting a nice cut. Merry Christmas TTP

    it's actually worked out pretty well. I mean, we still earn way more on the ad spaces in general...but people are using the newegg, but even travelocity, priceline, bestbuy, etc. It's good stuff.
