Well, it WAS idling at 34, now I can't get it to go under 36 at all. I even redid the thermal pasting (did a thinner layer than before) and it helped for about 10 minutes and then it went back to the 36 at idle, and when running Firefox or playing music/whatever it sits at 39-40. Should I be hearing any kind of sloshing when I gently shake the Radiator back and forth? I did notice that the stupid screws that come with it actually go far enough in to actually smoosh the fins under them, which makes me nervous that it might leak.

Also, got it mounted on the top where I wanted it finally with the new Cooler Master Excalibur fans, which means I got to put my 140mm exhaust back in like I want.

What kind of Thermal paste? Arctic Silver 5 needs about 200 hours of burn time before temps start to drop. Arctic MX-2, MX-3, and MX-4 don't have such issues. Idle temps should not be your concern, but rather load temps. Run Prime95 and tell us how your temps get. Download HardwareMonitor so you can see your current, max, and min temps when running the test.

Using Antec Formula 7. From everything I can find on it, it has a very low curing time. Will do the Prime95

Ok, ran Prime95 and my max temp was 55 after about 5-7 minutes. It did gain heat pretty quickly, pretty much hit 51 in less than 30 seconds. Now that it is off it dropped back down to 43 in 30 seconds. Still waiting for it to cool below 42 3 minutes later (but that could be related to my fan control settings.)

I've ignored these threads till now, I can't wait to get home grab the Yard stick.
