Bought a laptop

Just bought this baby today at the new best buy in town...they sold out unfortunately right before we wanted to buy them, so it's being shipped to my house.

Lol, my Toshiba Satellite has a battery that can last up to 7 hours (sometimes a lot more when I use it right), and a screen 2 inches bigger.

That reminds me, I need to finally get my free Windows 7 upgrade for my laptop...

my laptop is 6.5 years old and on the original battery. Everytime I think I am going to buy a new one something comes up... damn speeding ticket.

You ran it on AC for too long. Toshiba makes decent hardware. But as with anything it is about buying it from a retailer you can rape into sending it back to the OEM.. over and over and over again when something goes wrong.

Edit: I buy laptops from Toshiba exclusively. They are the best bang for the buck if you want a gaming Laptop.

I concur, its a hot mofo. And I used the shit out of my laptop while I was in school and for a while I was on it everyday at work. Lost my ram one time and the power supply cord went out another time. Other than that its been great.

I don't have to cool mine, but it isn't a gaming laptop. Mine has a low power usage CPU that can be switched between a high power and low power state at the push of a button.

I have a Qosmio in the house though. It's very nice, good gaming laptop. Never overheats either, because the case is larger than normal with huge ass fans in the bottom.

That laptop has an i3 in it, HD screen, 320 gig HDD. Shit beats my desktop PC....aside from graphics, which doesn't matter cause this laptop isn't getting any games on it.
