Re: video card problem
ouch...
you would know if you registered it, you would have an account with EVGA and all your warrantied items have a little section all to themselves under your Account.
You could try and see if they'll replace it, especially if you have access to your invoice, good luck.

Re: video card problem
If you have (or can obtain) the invoice from your CyberPowerPC order, you may still have a limited warranty on your EVGA card. Registration is required for the lifetime warranty, but they provide a more limited (? 2 or 3 years) warranty without initial registration. You will be required to upload an invoice from the purchase, however.
Unfortunately, I speak from personal experience.

Re: video card problem
You can but it from new egg and still get the lifetime warranty, just make sure the last letters of the product are AR or one of the other combinations that goes with the lifetime warranty. Also when I talked to them last week the nice lady told me it is best to register over the phone to be sure it goes through because apparently sometimes the info gets lost on the internet.
My 8800GT decided to fail on Thursday of last week. It has been over 2 years since I bought my card and I didn't register it when I got it and therefore have no warranty. I bought a new one from new egg yesterday and am going to call it in and register it before it even goes into my PC. If you are not sure what to get you can always call EVGA and talk to their tech people and they can give you recommendations and also they will make sure your power supply can handle the power load a card takes. They will not try to sell you the most expensive card they will (or at least the one I got) told me the best bang for my buck for now. She also had me read numbers off my power supply to make sure it would supply enough power to the card.
