RESTRICTION: Disallowed Program Driver [125083]

Ok so the good news is I finally got a new desktop. I downloaded BF2 from Steam. And now the bad news, when I join a server I get kicked with this "RESTRICTION: Disallowed Program Driver [125083]" by PB.

AMD Phenom QuadCore
8 GB memory
1TB hard drive
ATI Radeon HD 4350

I read something about Steam's overlay? Anywho, I am rather poorly read when it comes to this type of stuff. Any help would be appreciated.

You are correct it is the steam overlay that causes you to get kicked. I had the same issue and just had to turn the option off.

Steam > Settings > IN-GAME

Uncheck the box that says "Enable Steam Community In-Game"

Hit ok and you're good to go.

Yeah, pretty lame that DICE hasn't had PB allow Steam In-game. It works fine for BC2, but not BF2. Probably won't work for 2142 either when it's sold on Steam.

yea, steam just fucks everything up...especially when running bf games....my bad co gets a little messed up now and then...should of never bought it from steam....

So if I did that and it still doesnt work? Getting same PB kick.
