    RIP Headset... Whats good?

Well my old Steelseries 5H has broken for probably the 4th time now that ive had it. Second time in that spot, the joint where it connects to the bridge.

SO, since Christmas is coming up what is recommended for a new headset? Looking for something about 100 bucks but over is fine, and I dont want another steelseries... I also do both games and watch movies listen to music so I would like something that is good all around. In the mean time im gonna go glue my old ones back together....

I got the Logitech G35 recently and it is a very nice headset for just about anything. The surround sound mode works well for both movies and music, and the sound for gaming is spectacular. I think it costs roughly $130.

The only complaint I have about them is that I would like the ear pieces to be a bit bigger. My ears fit inside the enclosure and after about 3 or 4 hours of gaming they start to be a lil uncomfortable. BUT that is a small thing to worry about imo.

Thats exactly the way my Steelseries were, 3 to 4 hours of playing and your ears started to hurt, I just got use to it

You'll be fine with the G35 then.

G35 fan here too. One small concern with the G35 (and it's wireless cousin) though... it also has a weak spot. The pivot points on the earpieces are plastic and there's more than one report of them just snapping after a while. I'm very careful with my electronics (well except for mice and keyboards that is) so I'm not real worried about it, but you might want to read up on that particular weak spot if you are hard on headsets.

Krakkens and shit. stop tempting them.
