Chrome OS Surprise...

So my buddy was watching one of google's live demos and found the link for the Chrome OS beta signup...

3 days later he got a Chrome OS laptop in the mail free of charge; talk about a surprise! Any of you guys sign up for the beta? seen it in action? get a free laptop?!

The new cr-48 laptop with Chrome OS on it.

A buddy of mine was selected. I received a popup in Chrome last week asking to be a beta tester. Hopefully Christmas will come early!

They replaced the caps lock key with a search button?

I have a nasty habit of using caps lock, rather than shift, for my capitalization. That would prove to be quite annoying for me.
