    DSL vs. Cable

    Fiber baby, Fiber!!!

My DSL is on Fiber Optics and it blows away Cable (I get close to T-3 speeds for $19.95/mo)

They're always off a little. This is with cable, "out east" in the sticks.

    DSL vs. Cable

I have cable now and wouldn't change. I thought about getting clear wire but haven't done any research on it. Cable for me has a much lower ping and response, as well as faster speeds and more stable. I'm hooked.

Clearwire is not a good choice if you are gaming.
It is wireless and all wireless, no matter how nice and Clearwire has a really nice technology, drops packets.
If you are surfing or downloading, you probably would not notice it. But when you are gaming, every packet counts.

    DSL vs. Cable

I hate Time Warner, because of their crappy support and prices, but damn the speed is quick. I think last year, they upgraded us all from 5 mb/s down to 10 mb/s down. That's why my ping on TTP CS is always super low, sometimes around 5, but normally under 20.
