    Network Adapter Issue

So, I was trying to get Hamachi and leaf networks working on my computer last night (vpns), and when I turned on my computer this morning I now have no Internet connection. I uninstalled them both, but I cannot enable my wireless adapter for some reason, any ideas?

Does it show your normal connection in your networks?

No. It also says my network adapter is enabled in device manager, but not in network connections.

    Re: Network Adapter Issue

Hm, I have had experience with Hamachi, but I always messed with it when I had a direct line to the internet. I have, though, had the same problem of being unable to find or connect to any wireless networks.

What I do on my netbook is to hit the little repair thing. But, seeing as your computer has a built in wireless card, the best thing you could do is reset the wireless card by un-seating it from your motherboard, then put it back in. But before you do that, uninstall its drivers. Once you've reseated the card, download the latest drivers for it.

Unfortunately, I stopped using Hamachi about a year ago for security reasons, so I don't know a whole lot about its most recent renditions. Also, if I knew more about networking, I could probably say something more useful. At this point, it sounds like Hamachi messed up a software issue on the card.

    Re: Network Adapter Issue

Thanks for all the help. I got it sorted in the end. Turns out somehow one of my internet services had managed to disable itself... lol, so once i fixed that in services.msc, it all worked fine.

    Sigh. Waste of a morning.
