    BF:BC2 and Teamspeak button assignment

I have a Diamondback 3G mouse and Teamspeak won't let me use the side buttons for push to talk.

Any way to get this to work?

Judging from the TS forums, that seems to be a common problem; e.g.: Can't Bind Mouse Buttons

Some seem to solve the problem by turning off UAC and then rebooting: Razer mouse3 hotkey issue windows 7 64bit

Your mileage may vary. If that doesn't work, search in the TS forums for additional suggestions. Good luck.

I don't know about that type of mouse but I use a G500 and what I go is have one of the mouse side buttons set to * and set that as my TS channel, maybe try something like that, using a rarely used key?

I set my thumb button to (Keystroke Assignment) Backspace in the Logitech software, then I set push to talk to Backspace.

you can also set the thumb button to "generic input" in the option then you can click it in the game options. The above option is also easy.

Re: BF:BC2 and Teamspeak button assignment

sorry I didn't come back in for a couple days. In my logitech software you can set the button to do specific things. For example on mine the left side has two thumb buttons. A forward and a back. Be default they are set to page back and page forward when a browser is open. You can go into the software and at the drop down change what the "back" button does. In my case I can change it to "generic button" which changes it from a predefined function to a blank button. Then in the game it should allow you to edit the talk key and then select the back button and assign it. An easier option is like they said above and set your thumb button to V or backspace or whatever you want to use for your talk key and then set the thumb to be that key.
