Well mywife and I decided to purchase a new laptop today.

I think we got a pretty sweet deal.

We decided to purchase AS7552G-6436 | Product Model

at Fry's Electronic and whats even sweeter Fry's price matched buy.com online for $678.99 which saved another $121

dollars.

True but why spend 1000 to 1200 on just the laptop when I comparable system for a fraction of the price.

also the macbooks i saw were pretty sweet looking.

are you running boot camp on it?

Just figured out since I have a "desktop replacement" laptop is graphics card driver is more similiar to a desktop model then the typical laptop version.

Yea. I will probably wait until shortly around Quakecon...for 2 reasons.

1. I may get a deal if I attend or some free hardware.

2. When BF3 is getting closed to be released that will Q4 2011 so you never know about a last minute processor release which could effect the pricing index.
