To build or to purchase? That is the question
Hello everyone!
It has been quite sometime since I've been on these forums or on BF2 for that matter, however I figured id ask for your collective knowledge. My PC has aged quite a bit, and in order to get ready for BF3 and Elder Scrolls I definitely need to build a new one (namely because it just died on me recently).
Does anyone know of a good website or company that builds great gaming PCs? Im thinking of either building it my own with the help of my bro, or just paying the premuim for a finished product. I'd like to stay within a $1,500 range, give or take a few hundred. This range is just for the computer itself; the monitor, keyboard etc are already covered.

Re: To build or to purchase? That is the question
This is a whole new adventure for me (building a PC that is). I know my brother has mentioned CrossFire from time to time. Dual video cards?
Im assuming there must be some substantial benefit from it.
Once again thanks for any knowledge you can share.

If you are comfortable enough with the idea, I would recommend building it yourself. There are guides on how to assemble everything all over the web and we can help you here as well. For $1500, you can wind up with a smoking machine if you buy all the pieces yourself.
Post up some base you want (brands you prefer?) and we can get you a parts list that fits your budget.

Do you want to have to support everything yourself?
Is this your first build?
If the answers are no,yes then you should buy.
If the answers are yes, yes, buy this time put together a couple of hundred bucks and build something cheap to cut your teeth.
If the answer is yes, no, then build.
Otherwise, buy you will save yourself some headaches and ball pain.
