Thread: Mouse problem/question

I have a fairly nice 5 button mouse that works well, with one problem: If I jerk it too quickly, the cursor barely moves, just spazzes out a bit. This isn't a game-breaking problem, but is getting annoying, and I was wondering if anyone would know what's going on. Would this be a problem with the mouse, or with the mouse pad I use (just a generic one with a little squishy raised area at the end), and if it's with the mouse, can I fix it?

Means your mouse is cheap(no offense). It's called a mouse jump...highend logitech and razer mice don't have this problem...but expect to pay at least $50 for a good mouse to fix jumping.

Heh, well, then I'll live with it. I expected it was simply a problem with the cheap mouse, but a cheap 5 button mouse was too good to pass up, and it's still very usable.

Absolutely. This solves my problem because anyone who chooses to can read what I write. (Not that many will but it's still there) Good Fix.
