The only problem I'm running into is how to hook up the subwoofer.

take wire cutters to the AV cable and Fray the ends to fit the Speaker wire connections.

Going with this amp instead:

So, I called Audio Source, the company that makes that amp (AMP-102).

They told me that I can hook a powered subwoofer up to it, using the Line 2 outputs. I just need to use a standard subwoofer cable.

To recap:

Amp:

Powered Subwoofer:
