    Re: Components question

I might have found the problem. After windows saying there are now updates it now says there are 74. After all of the windows updates I will see if I can get the Nvidia drivers working.

Well hopefully that is the fix. Update BIOS and everything also?

Yeah. Updates are rolling along, so we will know soon, and I will hopefully be on the CS:S server before too long.

    Re: Components question

I removed one stick, everything worked fine, installed windows, then once I had W7 installed I shut down and added the second stick back, and everything is working fine. I think it is an issue with the MB on just the stock setting or something. Saw lots of other posts about it.

    Re: Components question

GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1155 - G1.Sniper2 (rev. 1.0) gaming and folding, check that out.. I bought one for their socket 1366 and have been very very happy, premium network and sound hardware built in so there won't be any worry about when I decide to add a 2nd video card if there will be any problems fitting it (such as having to remove a soundblaster) because that stuff is built into the mobo.. hell my d/l rate double with the premium network (killer nic) built into the mobo) from about 1.6 mb/s to 3.2 mb/s when doing steam and is sometimes higher.. true at a bit over 300 it's pricey but considering the cost for premium sound, etc the difference evens out
