Re: Linux problem
you need to run a program called "Root" or run the whole gamut as "root" (as in the root user)?
my *nix is a bit rusty, plus I generally stay in the console realm of that world, but if I remember correctly, X (and subsequent X related stuff...WM's, etc) doesn't typically like to be run as the root user (if that is/was the case this go-round).
and to toss my card in the hat to the previous jab...your problem is that it's not FreeBSD
but all seems well, so disregard if need be.

Hmmm...is there a distro of Chrome for Redhat? If not, should I use Firefox, or is there a distro from another version of Linux that will work with Redhat?

Installing ROOT from Source | ROOT
Currently trying to follow those directions. Any clue on why the "./configure" isn't working? Is there an equivalent command for Redhat?enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P

There is Google Chrome - Get a fast new browser. For PC, Mac, and Linux
Or Install Google Chrome with YUM on Fedora 15/14, CentOS/Red Hat (RHEL) 6
Firefox is fine I use it in a unix environment...(No Chrome/Chromium for FreeBSD)
