I'd also suggest doing a power drain on the Mobo/power supply...

Unplug the power supply from the outlet, hold power button on pc for 30 seconds to drain out any power.

Plug back in, and turn on.

Also, are fans spinning?

Getting error beep codes?

Just making sure, but you did plug the power cables into the video card, right? That is one thing I sometimes forget.

il ltry the power drain one. ive tried different monitors and its the same thing. no signal. the fans are spinning: all on the case, CPU/Graphics card.

I did the same once too, but the power thing was in only part way, so the video card would randomly lose power, and eventually stopped working.

the chipset on the mobo was bad so i changed it and everything. i got new RAM and a PSU just to make sure.
