Thread: L4D2 Server Lag?

Just wanted to get some feedback from the community to see if everyone else was also getting the lag that I am experiencing. From talking with some players, it seems that it's not just me.

Almost every time I have played in the last month or so, I have experienced lag and a somewhat high ping. It seems that there are times during the day when the pings are much higher than other parts of the day (for everyone). This could possibly be a similar issue with our CS:S servers.

With the tournament coming up, we need to have our servers running at 110% or else no one will want to play at TPG.

Yeah they have seemed kinda of irregular in the past not super recently but I know wish bear was having problems yesterday and some other guy on his team idk remember who

Noticed lag at times

maybe I'm just used to it or something but I rarely see it.

o be honest, I've never once experienced lag issues with L4D2, not even back on the killergameservers box when people were talking of rubberbanding issues... either I'm just lucky, or suck just enough that I don't notice lag problems?

I think a large variable to that is the fact that most of the TPG players ONLY play on TPG servers. I can tell you that from playing on my different servers in the last month or two, that ours is by far the most laggy...for me of course.
