And on that same note, it would appear that you've signed up exclusively to tell us this, so we're all pretty much on the same ground here.

In fairness, I don't think anyone's turned this into a forum vs forum war - Kenny's post (if you read it) was intelligent, well thought through and certainly couldn't be construed as looking to cause the beginnings of a flame war. He was simply posting a riposte to what was, quite simply an awful post that may well have scared the more naive posters into not buying a perfectly good game.
As for the posts on here, there has been some joking debate about a flame war, but I seriously doubt anyone's even interested in that sort of thing anymore. I heard those went out about the same time Sega last made a console worth buying.
Finally, I can only speak for my own post here, but the reason I bashed PSU was because, personally, (and that is to say it is my own opinion and not in any way fact) I thought it was dogshit. However, I didn't make inaccurate claims about it being 'graphics over gameplay', because that would be a ludicrous thing to say.

I'd just like to say that I love Left 4 Dead... as well as the double standards here on these forums.

Ok, that's cool, I stand corrected. It just seemed like an odd first post to make - I went with the odds, and was wrong.

And I agree with your statement saying that anyone who doesn't buy a game simply because someone on the interwebz said so is an idiot. Doubly so if it's someone like our friend Nodman here. However, whilst I subscribe to the 'don't feed the trolls' ideal, they do need slapping down and correcting from time to time, or they get out of hand and you have to start breaking out banhammers.
Regards the 'forum war', I think that was for entertainment value to be honest. I'm sure you know how quickly threads morph, and that was just the direction this one took.
