    .DEM to .WMV Conversions for when you record left 4 dead?

    In Left 4 Dead, you can record your game, and when you do it saves as a .DEM file. Even though I have been around computers for a long time, I've never heard of a .DEM file. Does anyone know how I can change it to something like a .wmv or a .mp4? Thank you if you could help!

    These files are specific to the game.
    You CANNOT Convert them.
    Instead use a screen capture program.
    Eg Fraps Or Screen Recorder.
    Play the movie back and record with them
    They will save it to an .avi
    Which you can then Later encrypt.
    How ever because this is uncompressed and unencrypted. The files are VERY Big like about a gig for 10 mins.

    If you use Fraps the trial version will only allow 30 sec videos at a time, so either just patch them together Or buy the real program.
