    DR:Chop 'Til You Drop

this is the Wii port of the 360 classic, D. Rising. To my knowledge, this comes out in mid-February and they've only made one video trailer of it, stemming from some gaming convention in early June '08. Yet everyone's goin ape sh!t on it because it doesnt look as stunning as the 360 version, or there aren't as many zombies on screen, or the zombies arent nearly as aggressive as they were in DR (for the video, the devs made the AI less aggressive so the player would have enough time to familiarize himself with the new controls) I keep reminding them "Hey...Hey...you, yea you! Before you go and make a retard comment you wanna check the date it was uploaded......no?.....dumass" I say that the engine was likely updated in 8 months, and capcom would've found a way to push the Wii to the limit as they did with the purple lunchbox and RE4. Capcom advertises it to have "new, wii specific content", "....to take full advantage of Wii-Mote...", and some other stuff. in the vid there are new enemies such as a zombified parrot and a zombified poodle (the poodle looking similar to the one in the intro of the game, where the old b!tch lets the zombies in) It also has a more linear campaign, where each mission is timed, instead of the whole 72 hr mode being timed, and it also multiple save files instead of just one.

In all honesty, being quite a stickler, I wouldnt want to take a gamble purchasing a game that i have for the 360, which I know is good, just for some (extremely) better gun aiming and new content; but for my friends with wiis; come launch, and watching a few reviews, i might recommend it to them, just to get the DR experience, which they wouldnt have gotten if it werent for this remake.

also, apologizing for the long rant; chances are, if you're reading something posted by me, itll be about a paragraph or longer...

Glad to see someone defend the wii's titles some. I'll concede the unit has it's problems when looked at through a hardcore gamer glare, but the unit has potential. I'd much like to see how this game shapes up. If only the developers would stop shoveling out crapware and the public stop buying it, we might see some more solid titles in the lineup.

    That, and friend codes...eah.

They're basically just releasing an inferior version of an old game.
