Russians.

Hello.

I'm just wondering, why are there so many russians? Have the game mistaken me for a russian and put me with them? Whenever I join a game, there's always 2-3 russians in it, and they always speak russian aswell, in the mic and on the chat. It's really annoying, and half of all servers seems to be located in russia aswell, as I'm at red latency in 4/5 of all servers I join. Are there any american servers I can change too? Or servers located in western europe, with western european people that speak english for a change?

that's odd. I seem to remember someone else having a similar problem. I'll see if I can find the thread.

I live in Sweden, but I have red ping when playing with russians, and they usually have orange. There' some french people aswell, which is odd too. Shouldn't eastern europe have their own servers?

Kagato it depends on where he lives. He doesn't indicate where he lives, just that it should be speaking English. There are connection anomalies where you get put wherever, repetitively.

Like I'm canadian, and I get put with Americans, British, French(Quebec possibly), and Germans all the time. Then when I say 'eh' I get laughed at, lol .=P

I think there is a way to directly connect to a server and select the game mode you want to find on it. It might be on the official forums in that essential console commands thread.

Then find the servers that are most popular, the top 100 for example, and just connect to those from now on.

Thanks for the replies. Sadly the server browser is pretty messed up, whenever I join a server it throws me back to the browser after 1-2 loading bars, if I press about 3-4 times it occasionally puts me in the game.
