I feel if you think it's wrong to kill a kid in a VIDEO GAME you are nuts.

Clearly alot of people do. Though I dont mind it (ive been called sadistic in the past), no games, nowadays, allow the player to kill children...same with rape..because it is greatly frowned upon by people and it'd be to much fun

On Bioshock couldn't you choose to save or kill the little sisters?

Don't remember exactly as I saved them all but I'm pretty sure the other option was to kill them for the Adam.

you could kill them by harvesting the parasite within them, but you never saw the child die, now its corspe..even for such a graphic game..

special infected are probably people who have an immunity to most strains of the the rabies virus, but fell to more powerful strains which specifically enhanced with with certain characteristics. Think of it this way. There are 3 people working in a factory: the first person doesnt drink alot OJ so he doesnt gethis vitamin C, so when the gib mad flu virus rolls up in the factory, he gets the "common cold" lets say his buddy next to him doesnt get sick form the flu, but then develops a cold and gets bad diahreea...he is suffering from a more advanced form of the virus which in turn gives him more distinguishable characteristics like bieng able to poop on the fly. Now the third guy looks at the other two and says, hey, i eat an aplpe a day and drink my OJ and jog for 30 min 3x a week, so he is naturally immune.

So where are you guys getting the rabbis virus from? Not that I am saying thats what it is or isn't, its just that I havn't heard anything that said it was any paticular virus, except just an 'infection'

Although, I do like sloppyjoe's theory the best so far

I think it's because the game was partially based off 28 days later...and..i think its rabies on that...or is that I Am Legend?

well 28 days later was the 'rage virus' I am legened was some virus used to cure cancer that did 2 things, 1- went airborn and killed most ppl 2-mutated the others that were infected. A newer movie Quantine is about an advance rabbis virus that makes ppl go mad much like the infected in l4d, but there are no mutations. So either its a mix or a coincidence
