No Mercy 1 - start to finish in about 10 secs

Was playing NM campaign yesterday with my brother and two randoms. From the start one of the randoms (Steam id: Men's) picked up his items and dissapeared. He didn't go down the stairs, into the apartments - he went somewhere else. After less than 10 seconds we asked where he was and he said "Finish". He'd got to the safe room already. We had literally just got around the first corner.

How did he do this? Is there another, really quick route to the end or was he using some kind of speed bot?

Did you check if sv_cheats was on?

my guess would be he used noclip command and just flew straight to the safe room

Probably dropped down to the AC units then ran from there.

I would've loved to see him get pounced just short of the safe room door.

I suspect the OP of reckless exaggeration. Time in-game can often feel far shorter or longer than it actually was to do something.

Can't really say whether i have exagerated the time or not - didn't have my stopwatch to hand at the time. All i can say though was that it was very quick - we had just got down the stairs and into the first room of the apartments by the time he was in the safe house. I realy don't think it would be possible to get to the safe room in the time he did by normal means (i.e. via the ac units).

I wish he had been pounced just before he got to the safe room. As it happens he quit just as we were starting NM2.

As for sv-cheats - does it work on all servers or does it have to be enabled?
