I gotta say i always switch between assault rifle and auto shotty...it really depends on what chapter you're going into as to what one you need. I also tend to save it for the horde moments and just use my pistols for the few scattered zombies.

But theres just sumthing about watching a zombies head burst like and over ripe melon through the scope of a sniper rifle.

T1: No preference. I like both equally.
T2: M4 Assault Rifle: it's preciser than the shottie
Grenade: Molotov: I donno why. I find it fun to create barriers against the infected and it's a good tank buster too if you don't have enough shottie carriers in your team.
