    JK Color Static?

    On certain things in my game, it'll have this static-like appearance. It'll be in at a door frame, on the wall, or anywhere really.
    But, the thing is, that, when I get close to the static, it fades away and a picture turns up. Sometimes it's like a wallpaper of the characters. Other times it is medpacks, and other times it is fire.
    I know a lot of people that play L4D and none of them of heard of this, so, I don't feel like a complete idiot if this is supposed to happen? ^^

    It probably has to do with your disc (even if its not scratched or messed up, it can still act glitchy). I have a problem too along the same lines as that.

    Sometimes in nm4, right in the safehouse, the picture on the wall acts like a mirror, and has a weird reflection BUT when I turn my flashlight on and look at it, it turns into a picture of a flower.
