    Very uncommon

    As said above it's really hard to find an official server , is it because where my location is or is it affecting others too?

    A server that valve has setup. 3rd party servers are ones like mine that can sometimes have mods on them or run different maps.

    In my case, mine runs 8v8 with weapon upgrades and a few other changes. Some people don't like this, because they try to get a serious 4v4 game going and all the sudden other ppl start joining or 2 tanks come. They'd rather play on a "vanilla" (unchanged or unmodified) server. All of Valve's servers run "vanilla" as far as I know.
    Gaming, it's wuts for dinner :P
