You don't mention here you have to pay $5/month to be a member of your clan. That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. I _might_ pay $5/month if you were the top L4D team.

Hmmm... $5 isn't like having to sell a kidney or anything. It just seems like a way to filter out people who aren't serious. Besides I suppose hosting the forums and servers isn't free either...

It's fine to filter out people who aren't serious by making them a "trial" member for several months, or by making them wait 3 months to join, or by adding value somehow (other than paying money). It wouldn't be a bad thing to have a clanpay system where members can donate whatever they can to help with server costs etc, but requiring a $5 fee for "a months worth of entertainment!" is retarded. I can pay $5/month and get a months worth of porn that'll entertain me more.

I played with these guys for about a month. I think 5$ is reasonable. First off, they have 5 or 6 game servers plus a vent server and a very nice website. Its reasonable to ask members to help pay for that stuff. IMO, of course.

One note, there is no interest in competitive L4D in this clan at the moment. They are on the TWL ladder, but didnt play a match or practice while I was there. In addition, attempts to start something were met with indifference.

In short, great, great group of people. If you are interested in a fun group to play casual L4D with, definitely look into them.

Ouch, 0/10 on TWL, I guess they wouldnt be too competitive.

But I would feel $5 a month is dumb myself. If it's for fun.......

We rent a whole dedicated server out of chicago have for years and run multiple games that is why there is a monthly fee, for everything. In todays economy no one can come up with that on their own

and we can put up whatever game we want and have our own file sharing system and and any progys we can run with a dedicated box.

So we run multiple games such as CoD2, CoD4, CoD5, and LFD.
