A Good Special Infected Idea (Trust Me)
hjavnet thaught of name for it maybe you guys can.(The orginal name was going to be the spitter but guess not)
Apperence
he would have a pyalon shaped face.with webbed hands n feet
Abilities
his cone shaped mouth would spit/shoot a needle that would temporatley slow down a survivour as if he was injured with red health. the attack would one last for about the same etime as boomer puke (maybe longer or shrter.you decide) if he missed his attack hit wouldnt tank a while . his scratch would the same (bout 4)
Resault
it would create a choas causing the survivours to slow down and if the survivours dont react it would make him vunerable for an attack from another si. it would be usefor when survivours are rushing a level.
tell me what you think

WE ALREADY HAVE ONE OF THOSE? ARE YOU JOKING ?? IF A SURVIVOUR GETS SMOKED PLAYERS JUST MELLEE THERE GUY AND IF THE GET NEEDLED THEN THEY CAN DO SHIT ALL. BOOMERS SONT REALLY SLOW THEM DOWN BEACUSE THEY JUST RUN TO A CORNER AND SHOOT
DOES IT HURT THE SURVIVOURS?

Actually, I don't think the principle is all that bad, Valve have spent a lot of work on the new infected to stop bad habits that players have falling into, so far they've got two that stop people from camping but nothing announced to stop rushing, I think something like this would be very useful in stopping the rushers and allowing infected teams to help get a good coordinated attack set up or time to respawn.
The range of his attack would have to be about the same as a boomers however, to stop him from sniping the survivors.

Garrity makes a very good point. If the survivors are already injured or aren't rushing (which will be about 70-80% of the time at the very least) then this SI is more or less nerfed.

i like the thought of it, you can do the same thing with a boomer, if a boomer pukes on a runner, he gets horded, which slows the survivor because of the infected attacking him.
i like the idea, maybe with some tweaking it could become a good infected, i just feel it need alittle something to give it more advantage.
but i could see some nice strategies for it,
like
-brutal harm someone in the middle of a horde/boomed (if it affected turning speed)
-running to a corner after hitting a cressendo button.
-it would really help tanks out.
-when someone burns a witch.
-when someone is escapeing fire/spit
-when someone is running to help someone.
i still think it could use some perks,
some ideas for perks
-a slight deafening
-sight interference (kinda over used)
-makes it so the affected survivors cannot melee
-doesnt let the affected jump
-doesnt allow affected survivor to pick up items
-reduces accuracy
-halves defence (so like if normally a hunter did 6 damage, the affected survivor would be dealt 12.
-makes the survivor stumble when shot by the spit(or whatever it is)
-forces melee weapons out of survivors hands when shot, and makles the melee weapon unpickupable for another 35 seconds.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Not by himself, but when you think about it...doesn't a boomer deal a good amount of damage by "assisting"?
All I can see from this is a slow down, something a smoker can do by pulling back a survivor, so that another infected can attack, another thing the smoker allows.
