Hmm... do the SI's remind you of something?

So, I was on my PS2 Playing Resident Evil: Outbreak, and a Hunter ambushed one of the survivors, jumping on to them and ripping their heads off.
Then I remembered, don't most of the zombies in Resident Evil remind you of Left 4 Dead ones? I am not saying L4D ripped of off or anything, but they are kinda the same.

Smoker and Licker with their long tongues.
Hunters and Hunters who both jump/pounce to attack.
Crimson Heads and Hordes are pretty much the same, cept Crimsons can fuck you up in secs.
The Witch pretty much reminds me of Morpheus with the color and claw.
And the Tank reminds me of the Tyrant.

Can't think of anything from the boomer.

Also, Resident Evil: Outbreak online had 4 survivors :P

Either way, this is fucking cool :P

Thats come across my mind to but I usually just go with the flow and enjoy things. Its pretty crazy the way it just clicks into your mind while your playing the game :rofl:

Also, the boomer has made an appearance in the game metal slug 4, which was actaully released before the conception of Left 4 Dead. Here's some footage, try to look out for the fat zombie that throws up as an attack.

Skip ahead to about 0:56 in the following video, and you will see it on the upper part of the screen.

Hunters from RE, are these monsters that leap (coincidence?) and jump onto the humans and start ripping their flesh off. There is alot of hunters, Gamma Hunter, Beta Hunter, Alpha Hunter, Enchanced Hunter, etc, but they are all lizard/human

To be perfectly honest, it normally bothers me when people compare L4D & RE, but you've actually got a point. x] I feel bad for the makers of zombie games. "/ It's gotta be hard avoiding copying other zombie movies/games.

O.o, Looks like there is a witch too, at about the same time, Its just to the right of where the bullets are coming from... Well It looks like a witch to me anyways :P

ive known this, they are all pretty Cliche' not saying its bad or anything though

yah the first weak of playing L4D i was always like "Licker!" whenever i seen a Smoker,
if you give a tank two mini guns and a rope(tentacles) he turns into Nemesis.
