That's not confirmed. Valve hasn't officially stated the Jockey is even real.

Destructoid isn't an official source, so this isn't techincally confirmed.

I.E. Don't get your hopes up.

lol...it doesnt have to be that complex. If you had a violent midget on your back clawing you it would make sense that it would also be jerking you around by shifting its weight to either side, backwards and fowards too.

EDIT: for people calling shenanagans, destructoid said in the article that they confirmed it with valve before posting the blog. Read the damn article.

I can say that I know the new game mode, and then say Valve confirmed it.

Until VALVE THEMSELVES gives us information on "The Jockey", it's just a rumor.

It's most likely referencing the Horse Racer one, since that's sort of like it's "powers".

hopefully they change the name, really Jockey, cmon it doesnt even have a 'ER" suffix
and from the link SloppinJoe gave us it wont actually look like a horse racing jocky so that good,
bur IMO a name change is in order.
