Thread: Minimum graphics card to run L4D properly on my computer?

I just bought L4D and i installed it and everything afterwards i opened up the game and when to a lobby everything was loading and when it was done loading, the graphics in game were bad cause of my video card right now i have a geforce fx 5200 i bought this card not long ago like about a month and i researched on tigerdirect and got some video cards compatible with my computer but i already know my motherboard is PCI and the video card i looked up on was a GeForce 8500 GT Video Card - 256MB DDR2, PCI, (Dual Link) DVI, VGA, HDTV my system ram is ddr and the video ram for that card ddr2 i dunno wat is the difference with video ram and ram i dunno if it's compatible or not i have some in game screenshots and i have my dxdiag as well as my system requirements scan for L4D

Your motherboard is extremely outdated. Get a new one with some pci-e slots, and make sure it can support your cpu (I'm just guessing...pentium 4?)
