Not really. in a clan that is generally all female, that word can be extremely offensive to some people. And the "see you next tuesday" (my favorite way of saying it) word.

its fine if you don't want to join for that reason, but dont get mad about it. Its not a good habit to use offensive words in the first place. We don't moderate you while you game. Its just common courtesy to be a good sport and have proper manners. Besides. We kick you from the clan the SECOND time you use that word. The first time you use it (if you dont apologize) you get a serious lashing from me. Weve had recruits in the past we've had to terminate because their language and behavior was absolutely unacceptable. we can't have people like that in the clan, otherwise hell would arise (and the recruitment manager(s) & leaders would get in a poop load of trouble)

Also, theres nothing stopping you from swearing outside of practice (I do it.) But try to be in a party with friends, dont let other people hear it / or worse, dont cuss out other people.

2. sometimes these people will associate the clan with you, putting the clan in a bad light, and in turn, will lose respect. we arent just another glorified GB team.
3. If it does get back to a manager, or god forbid, leader, that you were acting inappropriate, you will most likely get in trouble (:

Which is rich, considering DragonHeart crabwalks and teabags in pub matches while I'm sat there telling him not to do it. Personally, I think that, coupled with the fact that he has "PMS" clan plastered all over his profile, is going to affect perception of you guys more than a sweary word - but hey ho, what do I know. Also, have a read of my bio sometime - particularly the note about 100% respect. Sure, I'll mutter a word of disbeleif in match from time to time but when in lobby, even if I lost, I'll always say my GGs to the opposite team. Hell I even did that the other day when I got accused of cheating.

Perhaps you should play a game with me sometime to get an idea of how I actually am and whether or not I'm "fit for purpose" so to speak. Either way, I'm happy superpubbing with my usual crew. I'm also rather interested to know actually how good you lot are, so we really should play sometime.

I know you don't, I was just trying to get a point across - and I hope you weren't offended by it.

The point I'm trying to make is that sweary words should be the least of people's concerns when it comes to rep. I cuss and swear all the time, but I do not swear at people. Ingame performance and attitude is worth a 1000 times more to rep than a sweary. A single teabag moment hits my opinion of someone more than if they spent the rest of their life calling me a faggot.

Rules are rules though at the end of the day so it's my choice to disagree and stay put.

No, no I wasnt. Youre just taking it that way. I was not directing that towards you. Dragonheart is free to do what he wants outside of practice. We cant watch what everyone does all of the time. If its a serious problem and we get word of it, yeah we might do something. But until then, whatever. Thats great that youre respectful. I never said you weren't - again, my statement was not directed towards you. Don't take offense to it.
No one needs to be "fit for the purpose" we accept everyone "regardless of age, race, or skill". Just as long as the person isnt a complete asshole. Fine if you do, fine if you don't.
Also, we play for FUN and because we enjoy playing the game. Its not a matter of being "good" or not. (hence accepting people of all skill - people just want to play the game without being persecuted) We play against each other (usually) . Most of the division isnt competitive anymore anyway since the GB ladder died.
