against 4 bots?

hi guyz
i am just asking that if i play with a friend in splitscreen.
how do i do it so we both be the infected and play against survivor bots.
any ideas would be nice.

You can only do it if you aren't on the same Xbox. Here's how to do it on Xbox live...And don't blame me if it doesn't work anymore because I haven't played with the new patch because I sold my copy of L4D.

1. Join the survivors and have your friend join infected.
2. Start the game and when it's looking for a dedicated server, have your friend switch to the infected. When the game starts, both of you will be infected and you gotta wait 2-5 mins for the bots to leave the saferoom. If you kill them, the game won't end. If they reach the saferoom, the game won't end. It's basically an infinite amount of time, nobody loses, nobody wins. If you're the tank and they reach the saferoom or die, the tank has an infinite rage bar. This may or may not work on system link, I don't know, I never tried. And as I said before, I DON'T KNOW IF THIS WORKS ANYMORE. You're welcome

edit:: sonyfuzion beat me to it and even did it with a nice little number system.

Only on the first map of NM as far as I know, can you play vs 4 survivor bots. Place one infected and one survivor in the lobby, then start the game, and switch the survivor to infected before it launches. It'll take a minute for them to leave the room, but they will.
