    Better safe then sorry

    i was playing death toll with the level with the church guy. WHo was that guy and when he stopped sending those attacks, i guess my teamates killed him before i saw who he was. SO who was he. AFter he died, i saw some smoke like when a smoker dies. SO was he a smoker? ANy help would be great!

    When you talk to him, he paranoidly rings the bell to try to kill you, but when he stops ringing the bell, he evolves into a boomer, smoker, or hunter. He cannot become a witch or a tank, unless you doctor the pc files,and even then it acts like the tank or witch is a common, doesn't attack right and has very low health.

    I agree.

    Sadly, the chuch guy has killed me on expert when i was the last man standing. kind of embarrasing to be honest.

    DA3, 3 of us reach the safe room, and my friend is trying to kill two of us (the respawn with 50 health trick), but he gets smoked as we both die and we have to start the level over.

    About the church guy...it would be interesting if he didn't turn into a special infected... Just got out, driven insane and obviously turning, some sort of melee/ranged weapon in hand, or maybe with some unique ability!

    I know the tank is normally in the spotlight when it comes to bossfights, but this could have been an interesting development!

    It'd have been more enjoyable if the Church guy stayed human and the Survivors could beat him to death.

    He transformed? I always thought that maybe the safe room wasn't quite safe, so a hunter got inside and ate the stupid bastards face.

    It is completley random. He will either change into a smoker, hunter, or boomer.
