Uninstall your video drivers and use somethlng like DriverSweeper to remove all leftover driver files. Then reinstall your card using the nVidia 178 version

Then see how it works.

Some of the "older" cards don't work very well with the latest drivers.

Have you read through out FAQ yet? I am thinking maybe disabling your multi core rendering might be worth trying.
